here's the tea on my hair: i've been natural for a decade. so long that i almost don't recall what life was like before i embraced my natural kinky hair + the amazing versatility behind it. my hair is about 12 inches long when blown out (crazy, right?) + i enjoy going to @capricedominiquehairstylist for regular deep conditions in between my at-home cowashes and twist outs. this past week, @vernonfrancois sent me his latest line (available at @sephora) and caprice and i gave it a go. my super tight curls loved it + soaked up all the nutrients it provided! i'm especially loving his braid + loc spray to keep my scalp nourished. special love to @crowezilla for touching my head with your black girl magic wand! fun fact: this style is just TWO braids. and the tiny gem at my widows peak and at the end of my only hanging braid is a scarab beetle which represents rebirth and regeneration. i'm proud of my personal hair journey and am so happy to be at a place where i express myself and multiple aspects of myself through constantly changing looks ❤️
